Exit Lab

Finish the word without making the final stroke do too much.

Short structural exit

Begin with the smallest useful finish. Learners identify whether the final letter already has enough movement before extending anything.

Extended hairline

Test how far a light stroke can travel before the word loses proportion. Several lengths are compared against the same letterforms.

Return curve

A returning exit can occupy space below or beside a word. Exercises check whether the curve crosses another stroke cleanly or creates a distracting near-collision.

Exit and following content

When a word is part of a two-line composition, the exit is tested against the next line so it does not interfere with hierarchy or readability.
